Reliability: I've never experienced any downtime with the mobile website or app. It consistently performs well. It can be slower at times when there's mega-high demand, like a World Cup or Grand National, but these expected anomalies in my opinion. 

Mobile Responsiveness: The mobile website is seamlessly responsive and operates much like the app. This means I can enjoy a smooth betting experience on the phone without any significant differences in functionality.

App Performance: The app is not only fast but also packed with all the features available on the website. All the betting markets are there, the bet slip, plus you get access to some rich multimedia video shorts, that play like social videos.

Minimal Notifications:  Lastly I've not been bombarded by notifications. I opt in to notifications, but I don't feel like I'm being spammed compared to other lesser operations. 

Review: Design & Usability

William Hill's design stays true to its nostalgic and recognisable branding, keeping up with its household name status as a world-renowned British bookie. Over the years, they've made significant improvements to their platform. It was a little ugly back in the day, and they were a little slow in redesigning the site as design preferences changed. But now it's modern and very aesthetic.

In my opinion, the website feels comfortable to use. It's laid out in a tiered structure, allowing users to navigate through categories and down to betting markets seamlessly with tabs and accordion-style drop-downs which are popular nowadays. This layer-by-layer approach makes it easy to find and place bets.

One notable aspect for me is the clear separation between the sportsbook and other gaming options like the casino, slots, and bingo. This division minimises interference and ensures a focused sports betting experience for betting fanatics. Overall, William Hill offers a well-designed and user-friendly platform that caters to both its legacy users and advanced newcomers to their site.

If the football is on, then it's easily available from the William Hill homepage. They're good at promoting live and up-and-coming events. So if the football is about to start, you'll find the main markets are given a lot of real estate on the site.
