Away Goals Per Game Over 1.5 - Both Teams Combined
The total away goals per game over 2.5 per team, includes their's and their opponent's goals each game.
Away stats explained
On this page you'll find the stats for teams when they play away. The calculation still includes both teams in the fixture. But take Real Madrid for example, this table shows the number of Real Madrid away games that were over 1.5 goals combined.
Over 1.5 goals per game explained
This is a goals per game market and includes both playing teams in the calculation. There has to be at least 2 or more goals in the game for it to win and that doesn't matter if that's from both teams or just one team. So as a minimum the game needs to be 1-1, 2-0 or 0-2 which are all over 1.5 - So once the game has reached those scores, your bet has won regardless of how many other goals are scored.
It's displayed as 1.5 because there has been some historical confusion over the interpretation because of other markets like 1 or more, which allows for an equals or greater than outcome. The over 1.5 market can not be mistaken in theory, we're not asking the punter to select an equal or over value, it's an over only value.
How to bet on over 1.5 goals
Most sportsbooks normally have this in their goals section of the fixture betting page. It's a popular market for accas and multiples so is normally quite prominent in that section in the first couple of blocks or bets. Some bookies also list it in the popular section of the fixture betting page.
It's a yes or no bet, you find the fixture you want to bet on, find the over 1.5 goals section and you click yes or no to add the bet to your betting slip. If you can't find the bet, it's likely that the bookie may be offering a 1 or more market instead. Failing that you can normally find it in the modern bet builder functionality for those betting sites that have that available.
Popular for accas
It's a popular market for multiples and bet builders, because on average most games rack up more than 1.5 goals. But don't expect favourable odds, these markets are really short because the bookies know everything we do. If we spot a goal fest, you can imagine the bookies should have noted it too and will drift those odds out to mitigate the risk of losses.
